Two Day Dog Workshop
Make a realistic and detailed model of your dog
Whether you want to make a replica of your own beloved dog or hone your professional needle felting skills, this workshop is for you if you are looking to work on your style and start making really great needle felt dogs.
Perhaps you want to start selling your work and are looking for that extra bit of insider info from someone who’s been making and selling needle felt dogs for over six years (that’s me!). And now’s your chance.
Bring your photos, bring your enthusiasm and willingness to start making the felt dogs you know you’re capable of.
No more giving up with frustration I’ll show you exactly how I work from photos to produce great results. I’ll share with you all the secrets and tips from my years of making to help you succeed.
What to expect
Join me in the picturesque village of Hatton near Warwick where I'll be waiting to welcome you two days of needle felting in the heart of rural Warwickshire. Workshops are held in a pretty all purpose craft studio nestled in a cottage garden and equipped with all the facilities you will need. It's a light and calming craft space where you can comfortably enjoy the whole day, and is a haven for you to learn in beautiful surroundings and friendly company.
This workshop is for a small group of no more than FIVE people so that I can focus on giving you extra close guidance and personal instruction during our time together so that you leave with a model you love and the skills and confidence to continue your craft at home.
This workshop is not for complete beginners. It would help if you have needle felted before but by no means do you need to be an expert . I’m here to help you progress to the next level that you want to get to and particularly you are struggling to do this on your own.
On arrival you'll be greeted a selection of morning teas or freshly ground coffee before we get started. I provide cordials and soft drinks throughout the day with yummy snacks and fruit for if you're peckish.
You'll need to bring a packed lunch with you, which you can eat in the studio - or if it's a nice day we'll take it into the garden to eat at a picnic table. It's such a lovely spot in the summer!
Near Warwick, the village of Hatton is easily accessible with good main road links to the A46 and within easy distance of the M40, M1 and M6 There is also plenty of private parking. Alternatively the cottage is only a mile from Warwick Parkway and I can arrange for collection from the train station if you let me know in advance.
To book simply add the workshop you wish to book to your shopping basket and checkout securely. I'll then send you confirmation of your booking and directions to the studio, and nearer to the day I'll send you an itinerary of exactly what to expect.
Please have a quick look at the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page before booking.
